Native to the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and the surrounding Southwest — including right here in Nevada — this slender, pale yellow scorpion is a hardy and captivating display animal for experienced keepers.

Despite its potent venom, the Arizona Bark Scorpion is remarkably easy to maintain and is a great subject for observation. They are nocturnal, photoreactive, and glow a vivid blue-green under UV/blacklight — one of the most impressive natural phenomena in the invertebrate world.
