The Caribena versicolor, commonly known as the Antilles Pinktoe or Martinique Red Tree Spider, is widely regarded as one of the most breathtaking tarantulas in the hobby. What makes this species truly extraordinary is its dramatic color transformation — slings emerge a vivid metallic blue, and as they mature into adults, they develop a stunning mosaic of green, red, and purple hues that make them look like living art.
Native to the Caribbean island of Martinique, this arboreal species thrives in warm, humid conditions and builds beautiful, funnel-shaped silk retreats in the upper portions of its enclosure.
