A rare gem from the Loreto region of Peru,C. aueri was formally described by Kaderka in 2016. This tiny terrestrial dwarf is prized for its striking pink-to-red leg coloration and a distinctive pink heart-shaped marking on the abdomen. Nervous but never aggressive, it makes a rewarding display animal for keepers of all experience levels.
