The Pterinochilus murinus BCF (Buea Cameroon Form) is a locality variant of the legendary OBT, displaying the species' characteristic golden-orange coloration with bold starburst patterning. Fiercely defensive, lightning-fast, and absolutely stunning, the OBT is the tarantula that teaches respect.

Affectionately known in the hobby as the OBT (Orange Baboon Tarantula — or among experienced keepers, "Orange Bitey Thing"), this is not a beginner species — but for intermediate and advanced keepers, it is an endlessly entertaining and rewarding animal.
